《How do you study for a test》教学设计

  一、教学目标:

《How do you study for a test》教学设计

  1、学会正确的学习方法。

  2、通过交流各种学习方法使学生能够学得更好。

  3、谈论如何学会学习英语。

  4、通过谈论如何处理我们遇到的问题培养学生正确情感、态度和价值观。

  二、教学重、难点:

  1、现在完成时have/has +过去分词

  Have you ever studied with a group?

  I have learned a lot that way.

  2、动名词

  动名词由动词+ing构成,具有动词和名词的特征,起名词作用。

  1)作主语

  Studying grammar is a great way to learn English.

  Joining the English club at school was the best way to improve her English.

  2)作表语

  My job is teaching English.

  3)作宾语

  Do you learn English by watching English-language videos?

  He finished reading the book yesterday.

  4)动名词的复合结构

  Jack’s coming early make everyone happy.

  It improves me speaking skills.

  三、目标语言:

  句式结构 How do you study for a test?

  I study by reading the textbook.

  Do you learn English by reading aloud?

  词汇(词组和短语)flashcard, list, skill, note, difficult, ask the teacher for help, too hard to understand, end up speaking, make mistakes in grammar, get the pronunciation right, later on, be afraid of, laugh at, not…either, on our way, give up, fit in

  四、教学设计:

  第一课 Lesson 1(Section A 1a—2c)

  (一)、Teaching aims

  本课学习怎样为准备测验而学习的'几种方法,并使学生讨论几种学习方法的目的和效果。

  (二)、Teaching of new lesson

  1. Ask the students how they usually study for a test. Make a list of their answers on the blackboard.

  I usually study by working with my classmates.

  I usually study by reading the textbook.

  I usually study by listening to tapes.

  I usually study by asking the teacher for help.

  I usually study by going over the homework.

  I usually study by making vocabulary lists.

  2. Read the list to the students and make all students understand what each item means.

  3. Work in pairs.

  A: How do you study for a test?

  B: I study by working with my classmates/reading the textbook, …

  4. Ask students to talk about other ways they study for an English test.

  For example: Learn English by watching English-language videos/reading aloud to practice pronunciation/practicing conversations with friends/listening to the tapes/studying with a group/making flashcard.

  5. Ask the students to listen to the tape of Section A. 1b. and finish the task.

  6. Ask the students to practice the conversation in pairs.

  7. Ask the students to listen to the tape of Section A 2a and 2b and finish the tasks.

  8. Practice the following sentences.(2c)

  A: Have youstudied with a group?

  Have youread aloud?

  Have youpracticed with your friends?

  Have youlisten to the tapes?

  B: Yes, I have./No, I haven’t.

  A: Has he studied with a group?

  Has heread aloud?

  Has hepracticed with your friends?

  Has helistened to the tapes?

  B: Yes, he has. /No, he hasn’t.

  9. Explain and summary the present perfect tense.

  (三)、Exercise-designing for Lesson 1

  根据实际情况回答问题:

  1. How do you learn English?

  2. How do you learn spoken English?

  3. What things are easy for you to study English?

  4. What things are difficult for you to study English?

  5. Are you afraid to speak in class?

  6. Is doing lots of homework good for you?
